St. Ronan's Ex-Standard Bearers Association

The Association was re-formed in 1994 after a hiatus of over thirty years. The main aim of the Association is to contribute to and help with the organisation of the Games Week. The Association gives an annual grant of around £750 to the Games Committee. As well as fund-raising, members help marshal the parades and assist with many of the tasks that go on behind the scenes to ensure a successful Games Week. The Association also helps with other local events and organisations. Over recent years the Association has formed strong links with the Peebles Ex-Cornets' Association and both groups have found this link invaluable. The Association was also instrumental in the design of the Cleikum Centenary Tartan.
